The AP-600 portable UV air purifiers utilize two high intensity UV lamps and cover up to 300 square feet.
The UV light is enclosed and directed so the room can be occupied
while the air purifiers are working.

The portable UV air purifiers provide clean environment by reducing
airborne germs - bacteria, viruses, mold and spores. Annual
replacement of the UV lamps is strongly recommended. The effective
life of the UV lamps is 10,000 hours. After that the UV effectiveness
starts to deteriorate. Air filter should be cleaned regularly and
replaced as needed, at least every 2 years. Electrostatic air filter
should be cleaned monthly – use running water to rinse.

The UV air purifiers are completely assembled, with
UV lamps packaged separately to prevent breakage. Do not plug into outlet until
lamps are installed. To install lamps:
1. Unlatch three base connection locks to open unit
2. Lift with handle and turn over to install lamps
3. Remove UV lamps from packaging material and clean with cloth and alcohol. Do
not touch glass portion of the lamps with bare hands as this will reduce UV
output
4. Insert each lamp base into white sockets on side of unit. Hold lamp in place
and secure matching by-pins
5. Check wiring connections to ensure they are not loosened by shipping
6. Reinstall the cover. Fasten three latches
7. Plug unit into appropriate outlet
8. ON/OFF switch is located on front of unit. ON should power red light to
display UV lamp is on
9. Control knob is for variable speed fan - position to desired speed
For best results the UV lamps should be replaced annually.
