RM-9U-105 Portable UV Air Purifier shown. The RM-9U-105 portable air purifier unit utilizes one high intensity UV lamp and covers up to 200 square feet. The UV light is directed so the room can be occupied. UV Air Purifier Features: - Internal Air Filter - Sterilizes air in rooms up to 200 sq. ft. - High intensity germicidal UV lamp - Light weight – 8 lbs - Compact unit – 5½” x 9½” x 7¼” - Variable speed fan 10 –100 cfm - Electrical - 120V/60Hz, 1.02 amps The RM-9U-105 portable UV air purifier provides clean environment by reducing airborne germs - bacteria, viruses, mold and spores. For best results, annual lamp replacement is strongly recommended – effective UV lamp life 10,000 hours. Air filter should be cleaned regularly and replaced as needed, at least every 2 years. The UV lamp is packaged separately to prevent breakage. Do not plug into outlet until the UV lamp is installed. To install the UV lamp:
1) Remove four larger screws – two from each side of top panel with Philips screwdriver
2) Lift with handle and set aside
3) Clean UV lamp with lint-free cloth and alcohol. Do not touch the glass with bare hands!
4) Insert UV lamp base into white socket in base. Secure matching bi-pins – Do not force!
5) Make sure the safety switch in the back clicks when pushed downward
6) Check wiring connections to ensure shipping has not loosened any connections
7) Reinstall the cover of the air purifier with four screws
8) Plug air purifier into standard 110/120V/60Hz outlet (220V/50Hz – if specified)
9) Put the toggle switch to “ON” to power the UV lamp
10) Position the knob on front of air purifier to desired fan speed
