TrojanUVMax Pro ultraviolet water systems are tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 55, Class A for disinfection performance. The TrojanUVMax Pro Series offers twice the raw power of other UV systems and the intelligence to provide a real-time measure of the delivered dose. Most importantly, the systems' ability to deliver a constant, reliable UV dose was drastically improved and this is the most critical measure of a UV system’s performance. This means you can feel comfortable treating ice-cold waters and hot water recirculation lines, in a cool basement or a hot pump house! The NSF certified ultraviolet systems deliver a 40mJ/cm² UV dose at the alarm set-point as dictated by NSF/ANSI Standard 55 test protocol. The UV systems offer a 4-log reduction (99.99%) of bacteria, virus and protozoan cysts (Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium).

The NSF 55 Class A certification requires the system to deliver a 40,000µJ/cm² (40mJ/cm²) UV dose at the certified flow rate at 70% UVT (Ultraviolet Transmittance). The certified flow rates are determined by NSF through microbiological testing.

IMPORTANT: Dispose of used UV lamps as hazardous waste in accordance with local, state and federal regulations or the lamps should be recycled. Please dispose of the used UV lamps properly or send them to American Air & Water for recycling.
