Designed to filter and disinfect air in the headspace of liquid storage tanks, the Liquid Tank Conditioning UV / filtration systems are well suited for water, liquid sugar and syrup storage applications where warm, moist conditions encourage bacteria, yeast and mold growth. Through UV disinfection and filtration these UV systems create positive pressure in the tank headspace with air 99% free of dust and microorganisms - bacteria, yeast, mold and mold spores.
The LTC UV systems are mounted outside the tank, so there is no concern about broken lamps or electrical components being introduced into the stored product. Additionally the UV lamps are shatter-proof coated to further diminish the risk of broken lamps. An extensive array of options and customized solutions allows us to provide equipment that fits each customer's unique application, as well as stringent UV disinfection and filtration requirements. See The New And Improved ModelLiquid Tank Conditioners are constructed of high grade 304 stainless steel to mount on top of liquid storage tanks (as shown) and provide unsurpassed filtration and UV disinfection. Using two 10-micron filters, one 0.3-micron Absolute HEPA filter, a 140CFM blower motor and two UVC germicidal lamps, these conditioners will filter and sterilize air in the tank headspace. The blower continuously supplies clean, disinfected air into the tank and maintains positive pressure at all times. The LTC units can handle drop-out rates of up to 200GPM and must be mounted on top of the tank.
A Liquid Tank Vent LTX filtartion system should be installed on the tank exhaust to prevent contaminated air from entering if rapid product drop-out creates reverse suction through the exhaust. The AB Series LTX Vent system consists of two 10-micron (FLT025) pre-filters and one 0.3 micron Absolute HEPA (FLT035) filter housed in a high grade 304 stainless steel enclosure.
Designed for applications that don't require the high efficiency filtration of the LTC-2AB Series, LTC-2P conditioners and vents do not include the 0.3-micron Absolute HEPA filter and have only one 10-micron filter.
