The SQ-PA line of ultraviolet disinfection systems can be used in various applications where flexibility and pricing sensitivity are deciding factors. The small SQ-PA through S2Q-PA systems are ideally suited for point-of-use filtration, RO pre or post disinfection, while the larger S5Q-PA, S8Q-PA and S12Q-PA systems can be used on a point-of-entry system, disinfecting the water for an entire home or cottage. The low pressure germicidal lamps provide an economical way of treating water requiring a 99.99% reduction in bacteria, viruses and protozoan cysts (Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium).

The disinfection is accomplished without adding any harmful chemicals to your water. UV disinfection is the most ecological way of treating your water. These UV water purifiers are designed for easy homeowner maintenance. The UV lamp can be changed without interrupting the water flow. The quartz sleeve design allows for maximum UV output and operating efficiency.

In addition to bacteria (E. coli), virus, algae and mold, the SC UV water purifiers are effective against protozoa such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia lamblia. UV effectively DESTROYS these protozoan cysts at dosage levels well within the levels delivered by all SC ultraviolet water disinfection systems.
