Hallett®, Upstream®, and Cactus UV Water and Wastewater Systems
Hallett UV Water Disinfection Systems

UV Pure Water Systems
Key Benefits
  • Highest UV dose
  • Closed UV reactors
  • Built in turbulence generators
  • Dual smart UV sensors and UV monitor
  • Automatic mechanical quartz cleaning
  • NSF/ANSI 55 Class A certified

Three UV Pure product lines available: Hallett®, Upstream®, and Cactus for municipal to residential UV applications with flow from 1 MGD to 8 GPM.

Hallett® UV systems are
NSF 55 Class A Certified UV Systems NSF/ANSI 55 Class A certified. These are the leading UV disinfection systems for regulated applications like commercial, industrial, public buildings, and small community use, up to 1 Million Gallons Per Day.

Hallett systems are available in 15 GPM and 30 GPM flow rates; Multiple Hallett 30 systems on common headers achieve increased treatment flow up to 1 MGD at significantly lower cost than competitive systems, with redundancy “built in” at no increased cost or complexity.

Hallett systems include flexible stainless steel hook-up hoses, a Transient Voltage Surge Protector, and Auto shut-off solenoid valve as standard. Wireless remote monitors are an option.

Upstream® systems are engineered to achieve the same performance standards as NSF 55 Class A certified Halletts, but are for use where regulations do not require it that certification. Because Crossfire Technology is so powerful and efficient, there are Upstream models for surface and dug well water use where UVT levels are as low as 50%.

Upstream systems include flexible stainless steel hook-up hoses, and a Transient Voltage Surge Protector as standard. Auto shut-off solenoid valves and wireless remote monitors are options.

Cactus™ systems, introduced in 2010, are engineered and priced for residential use. We’ve kept the core features of patented Crossfire Technology like easy lamp replacement and visual quartz sleeve inspection. Now, homeowners have the advantage of UV Pure’s Crossfire Technology used in commercial, industrial and municipal applications.

Crossfire Technology - the Most Effective UV Treatment

Crossfire UV water purification

Crossfire UV Technology incorporates two proprietary high-output UV lamps, with elliptical reflectors, that target pathogens from 360º, resulting in a very high UV dose (65mJ/cm²) to deactivate pathogens and provide safe drinking water.

Risk Free & Fail-Safe - Crossfire Technology uses dual smart UV sensors mounted in air, which cannot foul and are reliable indicators of system performance. The UV lamps are air-cooled and maintain consistent levels of UV output for maximum pathogen deactivation. Computerized alarms and auto shut-off fail-safe valves are on board so only disinfected water can go through.

Self-Cleaning - a stainless steel wiper constantly cleans the inside of the quartz tube eliminating quartz fouling.

Virtually Maintenance Free - Crossfire technology utilizes two lamps mounted in air, outside the quartz tube so maintaining the UV system is as easy as changing a light bulb with no water draining required.

Easy to Install - Crossfire technology employs flexible FIP for quick and simple installation.
