American Air & Water, Inc. offers a
complete line of point of entry (whole house water supply - domestic
water) and point of use (drinking water) UV water purifiers for both
residential and commercial applications. For well water or processed
surface water - the DLR UV Water Purifiers are always the right
choice, especially for small and medium-sized water utilities and
decentralized water supplies.
As the number one supplier for ultraviolet disinfection systems, we are able to
provide a complete UV water purification system with a variety of features and
benefits. Depending on the needs and budget, there is a UV water
purifier for every price point and application.
There are four DLR Series to choose from, available in different
sizes. The A Series is effective and economical. The AP Series comes
with all the necessary features one could ask for with the exception
of a UV intensity monitor. For customers who prefer top of the line,
M Series (NSF 55 Class A Certified) includes all the features and benefits plus a UV intensity
monitor. The flow rates of the ES Series are verified to the US EPA
Disinfection Guidance Manual. The DLR-ES comes complete with a UV
intensity monitor, but does not have the added cost of an NSF
certification. Every unit is designed to deliver a dose greater than
40mJ/cm² at the end of lamp life in accordance with public health
recommendations and pending regulations.
The DLR UV water purifiers are capable
of treating small to mid size water flow projects.
Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection is a proven, dependable and effective
method for eradicating microorganisms present in the
water source. UV radiation with 253.7 nanometer wavelength is
extremely effective in killing microorganisms such as bacteria (E.
coli),
viruses (poliovirus, influenza, hepatitis), protozoan cysts
(Cryptosporidium, Giardia Lamblia), yeasts and molds. UV in this range targets the DNA of the
microbial contaminants and renders them non-viable.
The operating temperature of the UV
water purifiers and the inlet temperature of the water range from 33° F
to 100° F.
